The Copas Family

Introduction
My family is quite small, the four of us Atkinsons are practically the only members of our family tree that are still left standing. Our family includes, my father, Stephen, my mother, Linda, and my older brother, Kieran. We now all live on PEI with Kieran having moved back from Halifax to Charlottetown. Before living in Morell, PEI, my family lived in Ontario where my brother, mother, and I were born.
Our small numbers gives us the advantage of rounding us up easier. We spend holidays together as well as visit each other every other weekend.
As kids the five year age gap didn't make much of a difference to my brother and I. We spent many hours playing together. Our best times have always been the moments we spend together singing in the car. Most of my childhood was filled with backseat karaoke belting Madonna or Spice Girls lyrics at the top of our lungs.
The Atkinsons have a genetic need for travel, almost like its in our blood. Many of our best/ worst memories have to do with a roadtrip of some kind whether we were travelling for a few hours, or a few days.
Our heritage comes straight from England and Ireland before being traced back to the 1500s on my mother's side which is believed to be from Spain.
My only intermediate family consists of my godmother, Margaret who was born and raised in England, but now lives in Toronto, Ontario.
That we know of, the most famous relative we can find is Cowboy Copas, a popular country singer who hit the top of the charts in the late 1940's and stayed famous until he died in a plane crash along with Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins in 1963. Although, my dad claims that we could be related to royalty and not even know it due to our lack of knowledge of his birth parents.
